Question:

Im writing to ask if there are any significant differences between: 1 Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2-100 lbs, and 2 Swagman Straddler Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2 - 100 lbs. We own a small tear and want to buy one of these two carriers.

Hello Tyler, great question. The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack # CC-275 and the Swagman Straddler # S80503 are quite similar. They are essentially two different manufacturers version of the same A-frame mounted bike rack. Aside from a few minor design differences, they have the same weight capacity and will mount in the same location. The Swagman Straddler # S80503 has a more solid design with the receiver welded to the top of the crosstube rather than the bottom. It also costs less currently so the Swagman Straddler # S80503 is definitely what I recommend.

One follow up question. I see that there are 2 used Swagman Straddlers available. Were those items used briefly and returned? I assume they're essentially "like new"?

@DekeT It looks like we do have 2 used units available currently. Both of them were test fitted and returned. so they were not used but they will probably have some small scratches and marks from being assembled. Aside from that they are like new and will come with everything.
