Does Brake Output Circuit of 7-Way Need to be Active with Curt Echo Mobile Install

Question:
On the Echo. Does the electric brake have to be wired in to the vehicle plug? We have A Pacifica van.

Hey Marty, so with the install of the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 does not require any wiring to the brake output circuit of the 7-way as it provides this circuit. The only thing the 7-way needs beyond taillight circuits is the 12 volt accessory circuit active to draw power from.
