Question:

I just purchased a 2025 Honda crv exl. I have factory rails, but no crossbars. With the new car I now need a new way to transport my kayak so I am looking to purchase a set of crossbars that is compatible with the Thule Hullavator Pro or the Yamika Showdown. Is there a set of crossbars that will fit both? Do you know if the factory crossbars from Honda will work too? Thanks!

Hey Rob, thanks for reaching out!

I do have a roof rack fit from Thule so you can use the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898, but we'll need to find you a different lift assist kayak carrier as the Hullavator Pro and the Yakima ShowDown # Y04081 won't physically fit together on the roof rack. For your second carrier I recommend using the Malone DownLoader Kayak Roof Rack w/ Lift Assist and Tie-Downs # MPG114MD-351XL which is an alternative system but it will still make it easier to load your kayak.

The roof rack parts you need for the flush rails on your 2025 Honda CR-V are the following:
