Question:

Can you install Yakima tracks with plus nuts onto the top of a Flagstaff Mac 176LTD? We want to carry 3 bikes. What is the optimal rack system for a Flagstaff pop-up? Thanks!

Hi Matt; it is possible to mount Yakima tracks and a rack on your Flagstaff MAC 176LTD to carry your bikes. Yakima already has a setup for this so based on the size of your camper I recommend the Yakima Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y67CV. This has everything you need for installation and will require drilling. The roof rack comes with 60" tracks and 70" JetStream bars which will give you plenty of space to mount your bikes or anything else you want to carry.

If you don't already have bike racks you could use the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103. Since they're all Yakima products you could add locks and keep everything keyed alike with the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 8) # Y07208. There isn't an offering for 10 matching lock cores so you could order the 8 and once you have them match another 2 lock cores using the number from the face of the lock like the Replacement SKS Lock Core - A150 # Y8771-A150.
