Recommended Replacement for a Connex WMS-DVDZ3 Stereo

Question:

I want to replace a connex wms-dvdz3 with an irv stereo.Wanting to know about existing wiring harness I have to fit new stereo or is there an adapter

Hey Mark, the closest replacement we have for your Connex WMS-DVDZ3 is the Jensen RV RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # JWM90A. This stereo measures 17" wide x 3-3/4" tall x 6-1/2" long, has a cut out of 10-15/16" wide x 2-7/8" tall x 6-5-16" long, and has a 3 zone output that connects up to 6 speaker to the stereo.

Your existing wiring harness will not be able to be used unfortunately, so you'd have to use the harness that comes with the new stereo.

@Mike Mike, it does not look like that stereo is available anymore actually. That stereo appears to have been phased out. instead, I'd recommend going with something similar but different, like the Jensen RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # JWM90A. This stereo is a bit larger, measuring 17" wide x 3-3/4" tall x 6-1/2" long compared to the iRV which measures 16-3/4" wide x 4" tall x 6" long, has a maximum power of 160 watts, and has a 3 zone output which lets you connect up to 6 speakers.
