Replacement steps for my Sunlite 16BH trailer.

Question:

I need replacement steps for my Sunlite 16BH trailer. Morryde STP-015MR-226-06 is on the tag. 2 step. Which is the correct replacement? Thanks, Bob

Robert, what I found is that this must be Sunlite Trailers part number for the MORryde step. To find the replacement step that will work for you is to measure from the door way thresh hold on the camper to the ground. Then measure from the inside of the door flange to the inside of the door flange on the opposite side. Then next measurement would be to measure the rise of your thresh hold. The distance between the floor and top of the threshold must be between 5/8" and 3/4". If the height of your threshold is outside of this range, the doors may not close properly. To allow room for the hinge plate, there must be a gap of at least 3/8" between the threshold and the bottom of the entry and screen doors. If the gap is too narrow, the doors may not close while the steps are down. Once you have those measurements you can use the diagram below to select the steps.
