Should There be Movement When Using Rota-Flex Lockout Kit for Blue Ox 5th Wheel Hitches

Riffles lockout installed. Seems there is still movement of the pin box as there is spacing between the lock out bar and bottom of pin box. Also is there a torque requirement on the bolts?

Hi John,

Per Blue Ox, it is normal for there to be a small amount of rotation when using the Rota-Flex Lockout Kit for Blue Ox 5th Wheel Hitches # BLU62XR. And per the instructions, there is not a torque requirement on the bolts, they just say to fully tighten them.

The Rota-Flex Lockout Kit for Blue Ox 5th Wheel Hitches #BLU62XR is just a lockout kit to prevent the Rota-Flex head from pivoting, making it a standard pin box again so you shouldn't have a problem using it with your Andersen Hitch.
