Is T45MR a good fit for my 2024 Toyota Tundra to aid in hauling my 6000 lb camper

Question:

I am looking at the T45MR for my 2024 Toyota Tundra to aid in hauling my 6000 lb camper. Are these a good addition to beef this up and what kind of warranty are on them. I only pull about 40 hrs a year.

Hi Tom, since you only tow 40 hours out then I would recommend taking a look at part # HE49FR, the Hellwig Pro Series Helper Springs. They have 2,500 lbs capacity and are bolted on between your factory leaf springs and the bump stop. The Timbren springs are good however they work best when the truck is carrying a load. When the truck is empty, they tend to give a rougher ride. You can still use them however be prepared to uninstall when you are not towing. The Hellwig springs can be adjusted when not towing and do not give as rough a ride as the Timbren would.
