Transfer Switch for 2000 Excel With Solar and Generator

Question:
i have a 2000 excel 5 th camper. it been cleaned out of the organial wireing set up. i am all solor power and with genenator back up. I was wondering what kind of transfer switch might be good to put in? to run like the micwave and ac and lights.

It really depends on your setup. More than likely your inverter isn't delivering 30 amps so a transfer switch like the # 342GPTS wouldn't work. It won't recognize anything under 30 so you would still have to switch back and forth yourself. 30 amp is also the lowest we carry. If it is delivering 30 amps then this would work for your application.

There noting there now but looking to put some thing in to switch back and forth from 12v to ac for the big power. The gen i have now has a 50 amp and 2 250v plug plus 4 110v .
