Can the Tow-Rax Wall Mounted Folding Table be Mounted on the Outside of a Trailer

Question:

I am considering buying this wall mounted folding trailer table, but wanted to know if it can be attached to the outside wall of my trailer for use as a work table?

You could potentially install the Tow-Rax folding table, # TWSP45HFTA, to the outside of a trailer. As long as the extra 4 inches the table will add to the trailer does not exceed the legal width a trailer can be in your area AND as long as you were to add some additional security to keep it in the folded position AND as long as you used additional fasteners to hold the mounting brackets on (to account for wind when driving) then it is possible.

You may need to check the laws in your state and local area to determine if there are any regulations on having things mounted on the outside of a trailer. But other customers have installed in on the outside. See included pictures.
