How to Add 12V Outlet to 2024 Chevy Silverado For Furrion Vision S Monitor

Furrion vision s 7 camera requires a 12v plug to power on in tow vehicle cab. My new 2024 silveardo does not have a 12v female plug. Ive tried 3rd party usb to 3.5mm Jacks but no avail. What is recommended?

To power your monitor in your 2024 Silverardo you can add the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332. This is commonly used for vehicles that don't have an outlet and need it for a supplemental braking system. It will work just as well for your Furrion Vision S system.

I contacted furion / lippert re: the furrion s vision rear view trailer camera working on a 2024 chev silverado. I found out that the plugs on silverado has a pulsating power through the 7 pin on trailer to the camera. To resolve lippert offers an additional plug that goes between the 7 pin and the trailer umbilical cord of the trailer. Works great in first attempt.
