Will the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler Fit a Trailer Tongue Wider then 3 Inches?

Question:

My channel when measured is between 3 3/32 and 3 1/8. Will this coupler still fit over that channel. Did not know the tolerances of the hitch.

No, it will not sorry. The Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler item # DM16080-95 won't fit a trailer tongue that is wider than 3".

Additionally, I do not have a coupler like this that will fit a channel wider then 3". You may be able to use a channel bracket like item # BDAC3000300, weld it to the end of the tongue, and then use the coupler item # BDA256C0317.
