Question:

Does the 2022 expedition also need the extra diode on the brake like wire? I am reading other posts/instructions and seems like it does but not clear if it does and/or if it is included in the brake relay kit (RM-88400) as it isn't listed in the complete parts list you created above. Maybe the direction question is the 2022 expedition sensor normally open or normally closed. Also do you know the wire color for the 2022 brake sensor we hook into? Thanks Chris

Hi Chris; your 2022 Ford Expedition will have a Normally Closed application, and it is possible when installing the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 that you'll need Hy-Power Diode # RM-790.

I can't say for sure because it's really dependent on the vehicle and type of wiring you use. You'll need to test by turning on the headlights and testing for voltage at the red wire of the relay. If there is voltage use # RM-790.

As for the wire color, per Roadmaster, the 2022 Expedition does not have a usable brake light wire so you'll need to use the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000.
