Hi there, I have a 2022 Tesla model Y vehicle, and it looks like the electrical socket for attaching a trailer light kit would work with this part C57281. Does that seem reasonable to you? Thank you, Pierre

Hey Pierre, it sounds like you are looking for a 4-way to 7-way trailer wiring adapter to fit your 2022 Tesla Model Y which we can help with but the Curt # C57281 is for flat towing scenarios and actually would put the wrong version of the connectors on the vehicle to match the trailer.

So what you'd want instead is the part # 37185 which does convert the 4-way to the 7-way that would work with the trailer connector.
