Can Malone Channel Loader Kayak Load Assist # MAL48FR Work with Oldtown PDL 106
Updated 04/03/2024 | Published 04/02/2024 >
Question:
I have an Oldtown PDL 106 and a 2024 Subaru Outback. Will this work to help me get my kayak on the roof? I see it works for the Outback and want to make sure it is strong enough for this kayak. Thanks!

Hey Bryan, the Malone Channel Loader Kayak Load Assist # MAL48FR has a 75 lb weight capacity and I did my best to look up the weight of your Oldtown PDL 106 and found it looks to weigh right around that but maybe a little less/more. But either way it's not going to fully support the weight of the kayak at any point so it will work just fine.

Hello. Thanks for responding. Your answer says it will not fully support the weight of the kayak at any point so it will work just fine. Can this be clarified? Sounds like it won’t support the weight but yet it will work? Thanks for the information.
