Recommended Replacement Pin Box for a 2020 Dutchmen Astoria W/ Lippert Rhino Pin Box

Question:

Hello, my trailer has a gvw of 14,000, will the morryde RPB72 -06 Work for my application, I have the rhino box stock pin on my trailer, I see what e trailer reccomends the -04 model for my trailer weight but I found a used pin box in my area at a steal of a price, I see it says for optimal ride use the 04 but I think this one would work and offer some benefits over my rhino box, what are your thoughts?

Hey Vince, I did some research and it looks like the MORryde RPB72-770-06 pin box is only going to work with pin boxes with a Fabex 770 bolt pattern so it's not going to work with your Lippert Rhino pin box.

You'd instead need to use the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for 14K to 18K Trailers w/ Lippert Rhino # MR83QR which is designed specifically to replace the Lippert Rhino pin box.
