We have a MaxxFan Deluxe 4 speed #00-08951k in our trailers bathroom It’s not working right. Push the button to open it and it rises a little bit then closes. I’d like to buy the entire new fan again and just replace the fan and leave the part that is in the roof, so not to mess with the roofing. I can’t find the exact same model number fan. Will one of the new model numbers fan fit in the opening of my old fan? Thank you Michael Carson

Hey Michael, I actually wasn't able to find any replacements for that fan and it also seems like the fan has been discontinued. I recommend just swapping out the entire thing with the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-07500K.
I know it's not really what you wanted to do, but unfortunately it seems to be your best option. This vent will fit into a 14" x 14" opening, has a 12V, 10 speed fan, and includes all of the mounting hardware for install.
