Question:
Hi, i,ve been thinking about getting a 5th wheel king pin air bag hitch for my 5th wheel camper which is a 2015 cruiser aire 28rk, dry weight approx 8500 lbs and sometimes i pull a second trailer which may add an extra 3-4000 lbs. i pull it with a 2021 ram 2500 pickup. you have a big ion of hitches and im not sure which one would be right for me. was wondering if you could point me to the right one. thanks

Hey Rick, I can definitely point you in the right direction. The main factor to consider when replacing a pin box, is the size or pin box number of the current pin box. We do not have a way to look up a model of camper to know what size pin box it was equipped with from the factory, and there are a few ways to determine this.
The best way is to find the sticker or tag on the current pin box. It should show a brand, model number, serial number ect. Most of the time we can use that info to determine the specific pin box size. In most cases, if you were to contact the manufacturer of the trailer with the VIN, they could also provide this information. If all of that fails, we have a measuring guide that you can use to determine the pin box size, and I have linked this for you below. Once we know the pin box size or number, we will know what your options will be for replacing it.
Just for an example, a popular option is the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492. This is made to replace the Lippert 1621 pin boxes, which is a very common OE pin box. It is rated for 18,000 lbs which will be plenty, whether you are towing one or both of your trailers.
If you want to send me a picture of the sticker on your current pin box I am happy to take a look. Or if you happen to know the pin box size/number send that over and I can let you know exactly which one will be right for you.
