How Many Bikes Can E-Bike Rack for 5th Wheel Application Carry

Question:

I am looking for a hitch mounted eBike rack for 3 bikes that can be mounted on the back of my 5th wheel trailer. The 3 eBikes weigh about 180 lbs. I cant seem to find any suitable bike rack. Are you aware of any racks that can handle what Ive described above?

I really wish there was a great solution but nothing we have works mainly because of the number of bikes. E-bike racks are primarily 2 bike racks and when you have to limit them to 5th wheel applications that makes it really hard.

If for some reason you would only carry 2 e-bikes we have the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR which is 5th wheel rated and has the weight capacity needed.

Thanks for the response Jameson. We do have to carry 3 eBikes ... :-( One option I'm considering is to install a front mounted hitch receiver, like the Curt C52NR. We could use a 2-bike rack on the back of the 5th wheel, and mount the 3rd bike in front of the truck. I really don't want to do that - my new 2024 Silverado is so pretty, I'd hate to cover its face with an ebike! On the plus side, because the rack will be on the truck, there many choices for that front rack ... I think. Please let me know if you see another option for us. Thanks!

@MarkB That actually is a really solid idea and I almost mentioned it but I wasn't sure how open you'd be to having to buy two e-bike racks as well as a front hitch for the reason you mentioned. So yeah you could use the Curt front hitch part # C52NR with a standard e-bike rack like the Easy Fold XT part # TH903202 and then at the rear of the fifth wheel go with an RV approved e-bike rack like the RV Rider part # HLY64FR.
