Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2002 Ford Windstar

Question:

Im looking for what happened to the video on installing wiring harness 118366 on a 2002 Ford Windstar. I had bookmarked it so I could reference it when I was ready to install it, and now that Im ready it is gone.

Hey Phil, I think I found what you're looking for but unfortunately it looks like the wiring harness has been discontinued since what looks like 2021 which is probably why you can't find the video.

Similarly I've found the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM40615 which is available still but there is no install video for it but it's pretty easy to install.

All you'll need to do is plug into your vehicle's wiring harness which located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You're going to have to remove the tail light assemblies to get to the harness. Once you're plugged in, run the red hot lead up to your car battery and connect the included fuse holder, and then connect that fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
