Question:
This question is regarding a 2018 Rockwood 2440BS 5th wheel. I need to replace the factory exhaust fan in the bathroom. The mechanism that raises and lowers the door failed. I think I need part # MA99FR, but the description only talks about a wall mounted control. Mine is remote control only and uses a remote that is like part # MA00A01150K. The question is: Does the MA99FR work with a remote control? I have a attached a photo of a sticker with the part number of the unit in my RV.

Expert Reply:
The Replacement MaxxFan Plus 10-Speed Roof Vent with Smoke Lid # MA99FR is only compatible with the wall mount/remote (it says wall mount but can be used as a remote as well) Replacement Wall Control Panel for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA59FR.
So unfortunately it isn't compatible with the current remote you have.

Hi Kyle, For Clarification, My factory fan is controlled by a wireless remote, so there is no hard wire. I am making sure that this replacement assembly can be controlled by a wireless remote. It appears that part # MA59FR is a wireless control that is just mounted on the wall. Do you believe that I am selecting the proper replacement fan for my application? If so, then I will buy it and the MA59FR as well. Also, what other parts might I need for a complete swap? Thank you for your help.
