Hey Jason, our best option for replacing the Carrier Air V air conditioner is the Advent Air # ACCAR150 which is a 15,000 BTU air conditioner. This unit comes with a conversion kit which makes it directly compatible with the existing ducted Carrier setup. Meaning you will not have to change out any of the vents or thermostat inside the camper, only the rooftop portion. If you would like to replace the distribution box you can use part # ACRG15 for a new vent and thermostat. The heat strip is sold separately as part # ACMHD.

I have the same carrier RV transport air v heat pump ducted with only a remote. What complete 15.000 btu unit with work

@Robert Hey Robert. If you want to keep the heat pump and remote-control functionality, I recommend the following: - Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV AC w/ Heat Pump & Air Distribution Box - 18K Btu - Ducted - R32 # FR97TQ This is an 18K BTU unit but it'll actually pull less power than you average 15K unit. This way you can keep the heat pump and remote so you won't have to run wires thru the wall for a thermostat. It's a complete AC system so you get your rooftop unit, ducted distribution box and remote control/thermostat.
