Are The JR Products Adjustable Cup Holders UV Resistant?

The JR Products Adjustable Cup Holder # 37245623 is made of an ABS plastic. ABS is not necessarily known for its UV resistance. That said, we have found that these cup holders are perfectly acceptable for outdoor use.
The plastic is sturdy, it will hold up to impact and repeated opening and closing. It even works nicely with the heavier steel cups that seem to be so popular these days. The plastic can become sun-faded over time though, especially if you have it installed in a location where it gets regular direct sunlight. Even in these conditions I would expect one to last several years. They are fairly easy and inexpensive to swap out if/when the time comes.
