Do the K-Source Universal Mirrors Limit the Back Up Function on a 2021 Kia Telluride?
Updated 02/04/2024 | Published 02/01/2024 >
Question:
Im looking at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair - KS3990 It says it is compatible with my 2021 Kia Telluride. My question is that my Telluride has the automatic tilt-down mirror feature when backing up, Will that feature interfere with the mounting of these mirrors? Thanks

Welcome back! It shouldn't but I have an easy way to test to see if you going to lose some of that function. You will want to see if your mirror sticks outside of the enclosure when the back up feature is activated and your mirror is pointed down. Installing the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors item # KS3990 gives you close to 100% range of motion with the adjustability of the factory mirrors but you will lose some if the mirror extends past the surrounding enclosure of your factory mirrors.
We have installed these mirrors on a 2020 Telluride and I have linked the review video below. Around the 1:15 mark you will see the mirrors range of motion tested with the K-Source item # KS3990 installed.
