Can these flow through sensors be used with rubber stems, or are steel/brass ones required?

Hey Les thanks for your question. The flow through sensors that come with the TireMinder # TM38FR can be used on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. So while steel valve stems are considered a bit stronger and more durable than rubber, if you have rubber valve stems on your wheels now you will be just fine.
