Are Dually Chains Required or Can Single Tire Chains Be Used on The Outer Tire Only?
Published 01/30/2024 >
Question:
Bud M. Thanks for the recommendation, but I was hoping for a chain/cable for the outer wheel only, if this safe. Any thoughts?

Sorry for not clarifying that earlier John. Since laws on tire chains can vary from state to state or region to region it is best to use Dually Chains # TC4219CAM to ensure you remain legal where ever you drive. Some laws specifically call out if used on a dually that both the tires must have chains. And with the weight of your Forest River Sunseeker it is going to make it much safer for you and everyone else. The better traction will greatly increase stopping distance and reduce the chances of sliding sideways as well.
