Complete Flat Towing Setup for a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire

Question:
I see you sell a base plate for towing a 2005 chrysler crossfire on your site. We own one and have read such mixed reviews on whether it can be done or not. Ours is a standard transmission and usually that is what is needed to do so, not an automatic. A lady from chrysler help line says no, it cant, but there are people claiming to do so easily. Can you help solve this dilemma for us please?

It sounds like the lady you spoke with didn't really know what she was talking about because you absolutely can install a base plate on your Chrysler Crossfire.
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1972 is what you'll want to take a look at. This base plate is going to require some minor drilling and trimming of the air dam for installation, however.
You're also going to need a tow bar # e47ZR, a braking system # BLU37TR, and a wiring harness # RM-15267 to complete your flat tow setup.
