I need to add trailer wiring to my 2023 Ford Explorer but I don't have the towing package from the dealer. What kit do you recommend I use for this?

I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector # C56093 on your 2023 Ford Explorer, along with the mounting brackets # 18144 and # C83DR so you can have easy access to the 4-Way connector when you need to use it.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch or ball mount then I recommend using the following as well:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e29YR
- Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534

I really like the etrailer receiver because of the matte black finish that does a great job at blending in with black trim on your vehicle and it's more durable than the classic glossy black finish. And then the towing kit comes with everything else you need to tow a smaller trailer with your vehicle.
