Will Curt Wiring Harness Operate Correctly When Installed on a 2023 Mazda CX-30

Question:

Re curt 56450 and install on 2023 Mazda cx30. On mazda forms its been said numerous times that this does now work properly on cx30. The issue is when you put your turn signals on both L and R signal lights come on like as if flashers were on when headlights or driving lights are not no. Someone suggested a work around if the headlights are turned on then both the left and right flashers work properly. Can you have a tech verify or deny this for me. Thank You

When we spoke with our contact at Curt they said the only time they've heard of the Curt T-Connector # C86CR having issues is when one of the pins was loose on one of the connectors. They replaced the kit for the 2023 Mazda CX-30 and everything started working correctly.

Once you purchase the wiring kit I recommend making sure all of the wires are properly secured in the connectors and then installing it. If you see that this issue happens to your setup then you can take advantage of the limited 1-year warranty to get a replacement.
