Question:

I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 . I was told to buy an airlift 88388 so I did , then after talking to you guys you told me I needed a 88288 so now I have that also. So I noticed that the air bags and the upper bracket is smaller, which makes sense because the 88388 kit is too big to fit and it would collapse the bags and there would be no travel between the frame and the axle. So my question is can I use the air bag from the88388 with the 88288 to give me a little more lift in the back. Or I that not wise. Also with the 88288 if I put a little extra air in it when I’m not towing will that lift the rear a little. My truck sits level but sometimes I like the rear to be a little higher. Thanks. Pat

Mixing and matching the brackets and air springs isn't really recommended but you might be able to get a combination to work. If I were you I would just put the complete # AL88288 kit on since that would fit properly and there wouldn't be any guesswork or trial and error.

If you go with a bag setup that's too tall they would be engaged all the time and the ride quality would be pretty harsh and the capacity and performance would be hard to anticipate and know if it's safe. These kits aren't designed to increase the ride height.
