Can Unused Prodigy P2 Brake Controller be Unplugged

Do not tow. Can I disconnect. If so how. Truck battery needs charged frequently

If you don't need the Prodigy P2 brake controller part # 90885 you can simply unplug it from the back of the controller and nothing will be affected on the vehicle. I would then tape up the wiring harness so that it's not in the way and you'd be good.
