Does it fit 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT 6.5foot bed? If not which tailgate assist does? Thank you

There currently aren't any tailgate assists confirmed to work for a 2006 Dodge Dakota but we do offer the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211, which has more of a universal installation. This will require drilling into both the tailgate and bed in order to install.
