Does the fact that an Olympian Wave heater is a catalytic type, need a special inline filter like a Buddy Heater to stop rubber hose oil contamination to its catalytic pad for longlife reliability?

The Camco Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater # CAM57331 does not require any inline filters for the propane line.
