Good evening. My 19’ Bambi Airstream came with an equalizer hitch. Our tow vehicle is a 2023 VW Atlas rated for 5000 lbs. I just read online not to use a weight distribution hitch with a VW Atlas because it’s unibody. Do you know anything about that? Thanks

I have not heard anything about that, personally. As long as your Volkswagen Atlas is using a hitch that is rated for use with a WDS like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76176 then you'll be fine.
When using a WDS like the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w Sway Control # RE94FR this hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight rating of 6,000 lbs and a max tongue weight of 900 lbs.
