While below freezing temps could certainly effect the unit, 60 degrees is not that cold, and should not effect the functionality. The first thing we suggest checking is the ventilation around your water heater. One of the reasons your Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR, may be shutting off is the Oxygen Detection Safety (ODS) detects low levels of oxygen. If this happens, the ODS system extinguishes the flame. If ventilation is good, the issue could be with your water or gas. We suggest making sure your water pressure is around 40-50 psi. To check gas pressure you would need to take your camper to a certified technician. If all of that checks out we would have to assume that the water heater is in need of replacement. They do come with a 1 year warranty. If you are outside of 1 year you would need to purchase a new unit.
