The Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector # AT36681 (31011) requires a 3-9/16" long x 3-7/16" wide x 1" deep cutout hole. I wasn't able to find any reliable cutout hole dimensions for the 33535E so I recommend measuring the cutout hole you have to confirm if they are the same size. Aside from fitting the hole there's no reason why the # AT36681 wouldn't work as a suitable replacement for your 33535E. This unit comes with a second power wire so that you can connect it to an extra battery as a backup incase the primary battery voltage drops too low.
