Grease Recommendation for a 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Question:

Is this product suitable for lubricating fifth wheel slider way tubes, king pin and jaws? If not, please recommend. Thanks!

You will want to consult the manual for the hitch you have to determine if there is a specific type of lubricant needed and for all of the areas that need to be lubricated. I do not recommend a spray lubricant such PB Blaster for 5th wheel hitch lubrication because it will not be heavy duty enough for the stresses involved with 5th wheel towing.

For a better option biobased grease I recommend # L11390. Or you could use automotive type chassis grease.

Some hitches require engine oil to lubricate pivot points on the hitch so it really all depends on the hitch you have.
