I really like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e85AR for your 2012 Jeep Liberty because of the matte black finish. I've used a few of these on my vehicles and I like how well they blend in with the vehicle trim and hide scratches from road debris.
If you're in the market for a bike rack I recommend checking out the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR which is just a great, all-around bike rack that's compatible with pretty much everything on the market plus it comes with industry standard features like bike and rack locks as well as an anti-rattle system.
