Do I Need 5,000 lbs or 7,500 lbs Air Bags on a 2019 Ram 2500?

Question:

Hi I have a 2019 ram 2500 diesel I tow a 28’ deck over trailer, that could have multiple pieces of equipment on or other times wood ect. I am looking at airlift 7500 xl kit or the airlift 5000 kit. What would better suit my needs. Would wireless air tank + ez mount work with either of these air bags..

For your 2019 Ram 2500, I recommend the 5,000 lbs Air Lift LoadLifter Air Helper Springs item # AL57289 over the higher capacity 7,500 lbs item # AL57589. 5,000 lbs capacity is more than enough for your truck. The higher capacity ones would affect the comfort of your ride when you are not towing a loaded down trailer. These air springs are compatible with in bed hitches and will keep your rear end from squatting when you are towing your 28' deck over trailer or hauling a heavy payload in the bed.

The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System item # AL25980EZ would be a great option to install in your truck. With this compressor you can adjust the PSI in the air bags from the comfort of your cab using the included remote or your cell phone. If you are routinely carrying loads on your trailer that are unbalanced you'll want to use the item # AL58WQ instead. This air compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI of your air bags individually to compensate for an unbalanced trailer.
