Determining if 2000 Ford Focus SE is Sedan or Wagon
Published 10/19/2023 >
Question:
Im looking to buy a trailer hitch but I dont know what my car is considered because I have a 2000 Ford focus SE. Is that considered a sedan or a wagon? Because on some of my paper it says sedan and others it says wagon so maybe you can help me clarify which one I have so I know what part I need to buy. Thank you

Expert Reply:
Look at the roof line of your 2000 Ford Focus SE and if it is like a "bubble" shape and then has a lower truck lid that is flat you have a sedan or if you have a roof line that is flat and the rear door is a hatch you have a wagon.
If you have a sedan you'd need the part # C11294 or if a wagon you'd need part # C11296.
