In order to ensure that a hitch mounted bike rack will fit your 2006 Honda CR-V with the spare tire mounted on the back door, you will need to measure to determine the amount of clearance that you vehicle requires. I have attached a help article which will assist you in doing this.

I recommend taking a look at the Let's Go Aero NEO2 Bike Rack, # B01748, which assembles in minutes and the support arms can be quickly removed for compact storage. This rack measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to closest part of the rack. This rack will fit a 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch hitch receiver.

One additional option would be the use of a spare tire mounted bike carrier. The Thule Spare Me, # TH963PRO, is great product. Included is a locking knob to secure the rack to the vehicle and a cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack. I have also included a video to show you this bike carrier being mounted.
