Does The Redarc DC to DC Battery Charger Have A Battery Isolator?

Question:

I have purchased an overlanding trailer, that comes with all the red arch products installed - the manager, inverter and the charger. The trailer has and Anderson plug at the hitch along with a 7 pin connector. The trailer battery is 300 amp lithium. I have an appointment in November for you to install the hitch, brake controller and connectors on my 2024 Kia telluride. My question is with all the red arc equipment installed on the trailer,,,,, dc to dc charging etc., do I still need an red arch smart isolator installed on between the the tow vehicle between the trailers lithium battery and red arch equipment. does the red arc charging on the trailer isolate and manage the batteries? Seems like over kill

The Redarc DC to DC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D has a built in battery isolator. You will not need to add on an additional smart isolator. You are right it would be overkill, since your trailer is already set up with that functionality.
