Question:

I was looking at the Rightline Edge Rooftop Cargo Bag - Weatherproof - 15 cu ft - 40inch x 36inch x 18inch #RL100A20 for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I was wondering if it could work with it being a two door vehicle. It does have a hard top roof, but no rack/basket. Is it possible? How would the straps run?

On any cargo bag that fits a naked roof, such as the Rightline Ace, # RL100A20, you would have to run all of the straps through the one set of doors on your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport. There is no other way that you could attach it to the vehicle roof.

Although you may be able to use the car clips, # RL100600, and secure the straps to rain gutters (if applicable on your Jeep model).

The only other option is to install a roof rack. Yakima has a rack option that is the most economical made up of the following parts:

Crossbars, # Y00409
Raingutter Towers, # Y00101

Then you would not have to have any straps run through the vehicle at all. But if the Jeep does have rain gutters then I would use the Rightline car clips as the most economical option for mounting the cargo bag.
