Question:

I have a 2023 cougar 23mle and we hate the tankless water heater. I am looking for a direct replacement tank heater. The one I have is Girard model gswh-2 Do you have anything that might work or a different solution. It’s not a water pressure issue. We just waste a lot of water waiting on the warm water and out isn’t consistent. Especially when we turn the shower on and off we get a ton of cold water.

The Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR is currently the only tank type water heater we carry. This will require a 12-3/4" by 12-3/4" opening on your 2023 Keystone Cougar 23MLE. It must also be at least 19-7/8" deep to allow the unit to fit inside the camper. If your opening is larger or smaller you will need to have the camper modified as the Girard you have is designed to replace several different size tank type water heaters

This water heater can be heated with propane and also 120volt power to recover faster than other water heaters which are only powered off of propane. It will also require a Door # DMC58FR to complete the installation.
