Question:

I have a vent -a-hood fan that is making a high pitch winding noise . I think it’s the motor on the fan . The label says cc0431-05. When I do a search the number is close but ends in a 09 not 05 . Please advise what you think I should order from you Thank you!

To replace the motor on your vent-a-hood fan CC0431-05, you can use the Replacement 12V DC Motor # BVD0218-00. We have confirmed this with the folks at Ventline.

Since you are replacing an older motor, you will need to get a new fan blade as well. For that I recommend the Replacement Fan Blade # BVA0312-00, which is a 6-1/2" diameter blade.
