Replacement Circuit Board for a HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack

Updated 04/21/2025 | Published 09/30/2023

Question:

The left front fuse port melted due to a shorted motor. I replaced the motor only to find that the circuit board got toasted. On this board I do not see a model number. In your videos they refer to your original circuit boardinch and give the replacement board information. HJ info, 733513. I have looked through the Q/A and kinda see the answer. I attached a few photos for clarity. This truck camper is a 2017 Northern lite 8-11, no doubt the year of the board and controller. I need a controller, but do I need a new remote too? I hope not, everything is so high in costs.

No, you won't need a new remote, however for a replacement circuit board you're going to want the Replacement Circuit Board for HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack Systems # LC733513 which is going to be a direct replacement.

@Gregory Gregory, on the control board itself there isn't a reset button, but what you can do is press buttons 5 and 6 at the same time on the remote, and ACC. IN and ACC. OUT simultaneously to initialize the system.

@BryceD we are actually having a similar issue but the board is indicating an orange led. Do you push 5 6 and in out all together at the same time to reset ?

@Dave Hey Dave, a flashing orange light means its operational but in idle mode. Before resetting the system, I'd suggest checking the power first, making sure the system is getting enough power, that the camper battery is charged, the remote batteries are not dead, and that the remote works. If all that looks good, then you'd need to reset the system. What specific system do you have? Different systems have different reset instructions, so let me know what you have and I can see what you need to do.
