How Far Out Will Curt 15400 Extend on 2023 Ram 3500 Cab and Chassis

Question:

Installing on a Ram 3500 chassis cab with a RKI s6080 service body. How much will it extend from the end of the service body. Need to know for ordering the correct bumper.

I can tell you how far the Curt # C15400 extends out from the frame and you can use that to determine the measurement to the end of the service body. We don't have information on the RKI S6080 or a way to determine that distance otherwise.

The edge of the mounting plate lines up almost exactly with the rear edge of the frame when the hitch is installed. The distance from this edge to the end of the receiver is 7". You will need to measure 7" from the end of the frame where the hitch would attach and compare that to the end of the service body to determine which bumper you need.
