Will The Pivoting Head Of The Curt A30 5th Wheel Hitch Cause Issues When Towing A Car Hauler Trailer
Published 09/27/2023 >
Question:
I have a CM hotshot bed on my truck with a Curt A30 fifth wheel. I am about to purchase a Shipshe step three car hauler. Should I be concerned about the left and right Pivot of the Curt A30 fifth wheel?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The side to side pivoting of the Curt A30 # C66HR head is to help with coupling to the king pin of the trailer and slightly help with ride quality since it has built in rubber dampeners. This should not cause any issues while hauling your Shipshe car hauler trailer.
