Question:
Where is the break signal wire on a 2011 subaru legacy? I see the break light switch and the petal, petal is hydraulic and I see on wires attached in cabin. Is it converting that hydraulic into a digital signal somewhere else and is a wire there I can tap into?

Expert Reply:
Use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test the wires that run to the brake light switch you have found till you find one that has voltage only when the brake pedal is pushed. This is the correct circuit to tap into for the red wire of your brake controller install.
