Question:

My fantastic fan will open and close but the fan will not operate. I have changed the 4 amp fuse and the main 10 amp fuse and changed the batteries in the remote. Why doesn’t the fan work?

If everything else is working on your Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 except the fan then either the wiring to the fan is damaged and needs to be replaced, or the motor is bad and you need to replace the assembly with the Assembly Kit # FVK8017-00.

This motor and fan kit fits the models listed down below - if you have something else please let me know and I'll be happy to see if we have what you're needing!

My fantastic fan fv7300 wont come on but you tap on assembly it comes on but not up to speed what might be the issue

@Cotton It sounds like you've either got a faulty switch, poor wiring connections, or a low battery bank. Make sure that your battery bank is topped off or plug your camper into shore power (if you have provisions for that) and try running the fan. If it's still struggling then the next step would be to bypass the switch to see if the fan starts running better. If that doesn't fix it then you'll need to inspect all of your wiring to see if you have any places where the connection is loose.
